Visited Bangkok last year, and was able to take part in this incredible festival – a yearly festival in Bangkok that celebrates life. There was a rock show, tons of kids and everyone setting off candle floats into the Chao Phraya river as a symbolic offering of hope. And a group of even more adventurous send off Chinese lanterns into the sky.

This is a video clip is of Chinese lanterns floating in the sky right next to the Rama 8 bridge. Absolutely spectacular!

Was woken up by these two a while back. I thought the cries out the window were from a cat on the roof. No, it was a baby monkey that was trapped. Mommy monkey came to save her baby from a very stressful situation, and then they were off to enjoy another day.

This was a battle between two super intelligent beings of uncanny intellect and brute power. Inspired by Taiwanese puppet shows, Ultraman and old Bela Legosi films. Floaty Keith is the puppet master.

Brand new video, and brand new track.

Alright, I’m a bit behind on the new video, but for a good reason – wrote a new song.

It’s a little bit of a change for me, or on second thought maybe its just a return to my electronic stuff.

I woke up yesterday morning thinking about singing a whole album of acoustic songs – just really basic old school ‘a guy with a beat up old guitar’ songs.

By the evening, I had a new song together. It was based on a simply acoustic guitar riff that I recorded earlier. I hurt my hand last month playing too many contact sports. So, I couldn’t play a bar chord properly. But I really wanted to play my guitar. Anyway, this riff came out of that. Its kind of a silly simple riff. I uploaded it too – there it is.

Dropped it into Ableton, and the song came together. Even put down some lyrics. In the morning I listened back a few times. It’s a pretty rock track – I put it in as the music for this video.

And the video – took this footage out with Floaty Keith one night after our show at the Underworld with the White Eyes. We were walking around by the new City Hall, and Eslite Book Store. There’s this man standing there, directing traffic all night long. Actually, he’s a robot – a kind of primitive robot. Why his maker gave him a mustache and forlorn eyes we’ll never know.

Sometimes I wish I could just do one thing, and just do that one thing well. Kind of wish I had a mustache like that too…
